Description:
Rhin is a strongly built dwarf of average height. His red beard and ruddy skin are also typical of his race, but his blue-green eyes are somewhat rarer. His demeanor is arrogant but alert, and he always looks ready to start a fight.

Background:
The Deepforges were a well-respected clan of smiths in (todo, insert dwarf kingdom). As the second son of Regdor Deepforge – the clan patriarch – Rhin was pledged from birth to serve in the army in defense of the kingdom. While away from home on a training mission, Rhin’s father was accused of treason of the highest order, and executed. The entire clan was declared Outcaste and exiled from the kingdom. Rhin later learned that his uncles - Uhrgin and Fedor – fled the kingdom one step ahead of the executioner with the bulk of the clan’s wealth. He believes – although he has no proof - that his father was innocent and that his uncles framed him to save their own necks. Some day he will seek to bring justice to them, but for now he is an inexperienced and clan-less dwarf in the lands of men.

Rhin had heard rumors of a weapon master living in the northwest mountains of the Crieste Empire. He had planned on seeking this master out to either challenge him or train with him… probably both. He hired some boatmen to take him up the river, but they tried to rob him in the night. He tossed the fools overboard, but knowing nothing of boats or swimming he was soon at the mercy of the current…

Goals:
Rhin’s grudge against his uncles is never far from his mind, but he knows he’s not ready to face them yet. In the meantime, he is always seeking to improve his combat skills and to test them in battle.
